Project Goals:

Design and improve the visibility of the navigation menu to better guide customers to the right category and/or product.

My process:

After the project requirements are discussed with stakeholders I performed multiple variations of usability studies to include card sorts, tree jack studies, and un-moderated usability studies with customers to get to the final wireframes. Studies performed to help guide the new layout, taxonomy, and navigation category copy.

As with most projects I design, multiple versions of the wireframes are created to get to the final layout/design.
